How the Extension Works

When you upload a file using the Extension:

1. The file is sent directly from your browser to Filebin.net, a third-party file hosting service
2. Filebin generates a shareable link, which the Extension inserts into your Instagram message
3. The Extension does not store, process, or have access to your files

Third-Party Services

Files uploaded through the Extension are stored on Filebin.net, which is an independent service with its own privacy policy and terms of service. Please review Filebin's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle uploaded files.

Permissions

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

• downloads — To enable file downloads within Instagram
• host permissions for instagram.com — To inject the file upload button into Instagram's interface
• host permissions for filebin.net — To upload files to Filebin's servers

These permissions are used solely to provide the Extension's functionality. No data is collected or transmitted to us.

Data Security

Since the Extension does not collect or store any data, there is no user data at risk. All file transfers occur directly between your browser and Filebin's servers.

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
