How long are files stored?

Files uploaded to Filebin are stored for approximately 6 days. After that, they are automatically deleted. No account or manual cleanup required.

Is there a file size limit?

The maximum file size is determined by Filebin's limits. For most practical purposes, you can upload files up to several hundred megabytes without issues.

Is my data private?

This extension does not collect any user data whatsoever. Files are uploaded directly to Filebin — we never see or store them. However, note that Filebin links are publicly accessible to anyone who has them, so avoid uploading sensitive files.

The upload button isn't showing up?

Try refreshing the Instagram page. Make sure you're inside a DM conversation (not the main feed). Also verify the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions/. If Instagram has recently updated their interface, an extension update may be needed.

Does it work with Instagram's desktop app?

This extension works with instagram.com in Chrome/Chromium-based browsers only. It does not work with the Windows desktop app or mobile apps.

Can I use it without the extension?
